(Nasdaq:JVA) (the "Company") today announced it will be the Opening Ceremony Coffee Sponsor of the 2011 Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in three cities across the United States. The cities are Houston, Santa Barbara and San Francisco.
Coffee Holding will be on-site in all three cities serving their S&W Specialty Arabica coffees to the participants who walk 39 miles over two days. S&W Specialty Arabica coffees are available at stores nationwide and online at www.coffeeholding.com. The money raised by the Avon Walk participants will provide women and men with breast cancer screening, support and treatment regardless of their ability to pay. Funds are immediately awarded in grants to leading cancer centers, research institutions and community-based organizations in the Walk regions.
