Ontario based Stellar Pharmaceuticals Inc. develops and markets therapeutic products for selected healthcare markets. The Company commenced operations in 1996 with its development strategy focused on seeking novel applications for its products in markets where it can demonstrate true cost effective therapeutic advantages. Currently the Company's focus has been on polysaccharide technology. Stellar markets its products in Canada through its own sales force and currently has licensing agreements for the distribution of its products in 58 countries.

The Company’s focus on product development continues to be two fold, utilizing in-licensing and out-licensing for immediate impact on its revenue stream. These activities enable Stellar to fund its own in-house product development for future growth and stability. Stellar, through its out-licensing partners, intends to conduct clinical trials where necessary, to obtain the required regulatory approvals for its products in international markets.
